Rascal Flatts: #Changed!

The RHOK and Mrs. Hart were so lucky as to be selected by One2One network to attend the one night event "Changed" with Rascal Flatts last Thursday. Mrs.Sinclair was suppose to go too, but had an impromptu knee emergency. So, Mrs. Hart is writing for both of us today about her experience!  Rascal Flatts is a favorite of the RHOK gals and we are so happy to promote this for them!  Mrs. Sinclair also wants you to know that @joedonrooney even follows her on the Twitter. Bonus, he tweets back!

Country music trio Rascal Flatts, with AEG Live and NCM Fathom, held a one-night only special theater event in New York City last Thursday evening, April 5 , titled "Changed." The event coincided with the release of the band's eighth studio album of the same name, which was released on the 3rd . The film was broadcast to over 600 theaters nationally. I had the opportunity through One2One Network to go to this theater review and take another fan- my husband!

We are huge Rascal Flatts fans. And after seeing these three men explain the change that has taken place within each of them and as a group, our fan status remains unchanged. I never imagined the level of emotion that Jay Demarcus, Gary Levox, and Oklahoma's own Joe Don Rooney would express to the theater audiences. Their love for music, each other and especially family is why "Changed" will probably be their 7th number one album.

'Changed' is the record label to Big Machine, also changed is what I describe as a invigoration of sound, more spice. These guys can sing! In the 45 minutes of music they played a mixture of classic Rascal Flatts to of course the new album. I can honestly say, we love the new album. There were times I wanted to get up and rock out like I was at their concert a few years back. The new titles, "Hot In Here","She's Leaving", "Come Wake Me Up", "Changed" and "Banjo" were played. Let me just tell you now, "Hot In Here" is SEXY and "She's Leaving" makes you totally want to ROCK OUT, while "Changed" gets you into a serious inspirational mood!

I tweeted some during the presentation, yeah- I can sing and tweet at the same time. It was fun reading other tweets about the event. I wasn't able to take many pictures. There wasn't anything to take pictures of, there was absolutely no promotional materials in the theater. So here are a few snapshots of our night that I will leave you with.

Me- All dolled up for a DATE!!!

RHOK'n to NKOTBSB

"NKOTBSB" performed live first together on November 21, 2010 at the American Music Awards on ABC and again on 2011 New Year's on ABC's Dick Clark/Ryan Seacrest Show. When I saw them on the AMA's- oh my my! I am so glad the DVR caught it. I think I watched that performance like 5x that night. Mr. Hart did too! Yeah he really enjoyed watching his wife and the women on TV dancing, singing word for word, all with a star gazed look in our eyes. I said then if they EVAH came to Tulsa I had to be there and so did the other Housewives- except for Mrs. Sinclair. But, that's okay, we still ♥ her!

Oh, and of course I will share a few tweets with you from the conversation regarding the AMA's  from the housewives. Oh yes we did!!! And oh, yes I am.

And so..5 out of 6 of us actually got to be in the presence of the hottest combined boy bands of the 80's/90's on Sunday night July 17 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, screaming our heads off like teenage girls! Yeah, because we can NOW and some of us couldn't 20 years ago! Living our teenage dreams in our housewife years!

I really love this quote. “ We’re still young, we’re still hot,” McIntryre answers with a laugh. “Our fans are between 25 and 35 now because they were really young then. They’re still very attractive — and very legal. So it’s going to be a girls night out..."

Oh Donnie......my Donnie! Guess you can tell which of the boys I was in love with. Not much has changed in 20 years.
NKOTB assembled in 1984 and disbanded in 1994 with several attempts made to get the group back together, all of them unsuccessful. They have released 7 albums. The Backstreet Boys assembled 1992 and have released 7 albums. I can definitely say this is one housewife who totally enjoyed herself and am so glad that I have enjoyed this music for 3 decades. Totally a concert worth going to! Be sure to check out all of our blogs today for more pictures and memories from RHOK'n with the NKOTBSB!!
