My friend Jamie recently shot the following video at a bachelorette party in Oklahoma City.
Okay, so yes this video is hilarious. The poor bride to be is clueless that she has toilet paper hanging on her dress. Would have you helped her by practicing a random act of kindness and either told her or just ripped it down without her knowing? What you don't see in this video, I am told, is someone did practice a random act and took care of that embarrassing moment for her, and she never knew- or at least didn't until later.
A local radio station here in the Tulsa area KXOJ periodically holds a day of "Drive Thru Difference- The Drive Thru Difference is an easy way for you to make a difference in your community and make someone’s day. It’s faith in action, and it’s really easy. All you have to do is pay for the person’s food or drink behind you in the Drive Thru." I actually did this one day at Sonic, I didn't have the letter designed for the difference, but I still paid and wrote a note with John 3:16 on it. I pray that the person behind me truly was blessed. I know my best friend certainly was when her Sonic Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper was paid for by the stranger in front of her car, she did get the letter.
So think about, what can you do to make a difference to someone randomly?
