The Bachelorette - Are You Watching?

I admit it. I'm addicted to The Bachelor and Bachelorette. There, I said it. I wish I weren't, because I really don't agree with the whole making out with 20+ guys/gals and then sending them home one-at-a-time until you end up with just one remaining. It breaks my heart to see how heartbroken some of them are when they've been kicked to the curb. You know that for some of those women (and, men) they will be forever scarred because they were rejected on national television. Yes, yes, I know they signed up for it, but still.

The statistics aren't in their favor to find true love on these reality love shows. Most of them break up by the time the show finishes airing. But, there have been a few to date a little longer. And, even fewer still, who have actually made a go of it.

I loved the season of The Bachelorette that featured Trista. I picked Ryan to win it, and he did. True story, my husband and I were vacationing in Las Vegas one time and we got on the elevator with this couple. They are tiny. By looking at this picture you would think that Ryan is a good-sized guy. No, it's just that Trista is THAT little. On the elevator, she was holding a big box of Krispy Kreme donuts at 2 O'clock in the morning and she and Ryan looked a little worse for wear, if ya know what I mean. They were actually staying on our floor at the MGM Grand. Yes, I love all these little claim to fames that I have. Don't you judge!

The season of The Bachelor with Jason Mesnick drove me bonkers. I loved Melissa and was happy when he chose her. I didn't care for Molly at all. And, what happened? Jason ended up breaking up with Melissa after the show and marrying Molly. They are coo-coo, I'm convinced. I do wish them much happiness, I'm not totally heartless. Besides, Melissa deserved better.

What about last season's The Bachelorette when Ali chose Roberto? She couldn't go wrong with her last two choices, in my opinion. They seem extremely happy together and I foresee that they will actually get married. I follow her on Facebook and Twitter and she's just precious.

Do you recognize this hunk-a-hunk-of-burnin'-love? Yes, it's Travis Stork, one of the doctors on The Doctors. I had totally forgotten that he was on The Bachelor. I'm guessing him being The Bachelor helped launch his career on The Doctors. He makes me SWOON

All of this leads up to this season of The Bachelorette. Ashley Hebert is The Bachelorette. I wasn't super excited when she was the one chosen for this season. I mean, she is cute and all, but I feel like she lacks self-esteem.(I hope she doesn't read this because it crush her self-esteem even more.) She says things that make her look weak and she started making out with the guys from the get-go. Blech. However, she does have some awesome guys to choose from.

Here are my favorites so far...

William - He's adorable and funny. I'm pretty sure he doesn't win, so I'm hoping maybe he will be the next Bachelor. It's time for them to have someone fun as The Bachelor. Brad Womack was pretty to look at, but he was NOT fun.

Mickey, Mickey, You're so fine. You're so fine you blow my mind. Hey, Mickey.

Sorry. I get a little lost in his blue eyes and dark hair. I can see why he was voted as Cosmopolitan's Bachelor of the year. He's gorgeous, sexy and smart. Plus, he's a chef so that rates high on my list!
I'm also pretty sure Ashley doesn't keep him around to the end either. Silly girl.

But, if the rumors are correct, this is who she does keep around to the end and I'm okay with that.

JP - He seems genuine, not as nice to look at as Mickey, but that's okay. Nice should always win over looks, in my book. But, I think she could have nice AND good-looking. I'm just sayin'.....

This season's villain is good-looking, but he is a royal JERK! And, nothing makes me more irritated than for these women to be warned about a bad guy and then keep them on the show. It's proof, to me, that ABC makes her leave him on the show for awhile, just for the ratings. Argh! I'd give the show high ratings in the way I'd boot him off! It wouldn't be pretty.

ROYAL JERK-OFF Bentley

Are you watching this season? Who are your picks? What are your thoughts on the guys, reality love shows, etc..?  I want to know!
