The Changing of the Lightbulbs

One household chore that I really don't mind doing is the changing of lightbulbs. But, I can't change the four can or floodlights in my 12 foot high kitchen! I say I can't, yet I have never tried or will I ever give it a try! It requires a ladder, not a stepstool and no I am not scared of heights, just scared of ladders. I know, I know, I don't get it either, but I just won't even attempt it. Sorry. That leaves this job to my husband!



This light has been out since July!



During Fall Break, I had the opportunity to tour the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium. At a cost of $1.2 billion it was nice to know that the 3 million square foot facility that Jerry Jones is so proud also has the same problem I do. Burned out light bulbs in the "Exclusive Private Cowboy Club". I wonder how happy he will be that I am pointing it out to the world? Of course he probably has bigger things to worry about right now, like winning a game of football and figuring out how to get his team to play first in their own stadium for Superbowl XLV in 2011!  

Personally, I think he'd be better off putting some of his Cowboy's to selling some cotton candy and start picking some new players. Then start looking at some more recruits from the SEC and Big 12 and make his players get back to the basics by watching some college ball. Who knows, maybe the Arkansas Razorbacks will make another appearance to the Cotton Bowl on January 7, 2011-and I really would like to see the OU Sooners there also! Oh yeah, Mrs. Hart does love her some football and once a fan ALWAYS a devoted FAN, but I call it like it is. It's time to change some lightbulbs, okay!!!

Wonder if the stadium employees are ladder shy? Surely not!

Looks like Jerry needs to stick to managing his team for now and leave the real housekeeping to someone else, and as for me and my house....YooHoo, Honey- I'll make your favorite dinner if I can SEE to make it! LOL
